Oxygen concentrator

1.How to put on a nose plug and use it?

Although nasal cannula is the most common way of oxygen delivery, it is a new way of oxygen delivery for anyone. Here are some suggestions to ensure the correct nasal cannula is suitable and how to wear it comfortably.

(1) Check the size. Although most adult nasal congestion is one size fits all, some brands offer different sizes to choose from. Children and infants also have different sizes. Due to the fact that most nasal congestion may appear similar at first glance, but differ in specifics, it is important to ensure that you have the correct size. Your sleeve should be comfortably inserted into your nostril so that it does not easily move or come out. If it's on top of your nostrils or rubbing, your size is wrong.

(2) Connect your nose plug to oxygen. On the pipeline, at the other end of your nose tip, there is a connector connected to your oxygen source. Connect the connector, then turn on the oxygen to your designated settings and place the nose on the skin to ensure the flow of oxygen.

(3) Place nasal congestion on the face, as most nasal congestion is curved to better fit. Place it upside down on your face and insert it into your nostrils. You should feel oxygen flowing gently (if you use a pulse dosimeter, you will feel a stream of oxygen). Lift the tubing and place each side around the ears. The tube should fit around every ear and your chin. The casing includes a slider that allows you to safely secure the tubing. Adjust the slider to make it comfortable, but leave two fingers to fit underneath.

Tips for increasing the comfort of nasal intubation

Although most nasal congestion is lightweight and designed for comfort, they can still cause irritation. Follow these comfortable oxygen therapy techniques.

If oxygen therapy causes dryness in your nose or lips, use water-based lubricants in dry areas. Saline nasal spray can also relieve dry nose. Avoid oily lubricants as they can cause skin allergies. Also, talk to your healthcare provider to see if you should use a humidifier in oxygen therapy.

If you feel the stimulation of the tube behind your ear, you can purchase earplugs that can easily slide around the tube. It is easy to find earplugs online or at oxygen supply stores. If you don't have the filling yet, you can use a piece of gauze or fabric until your filling arrives.

2.What if the oxygen concentrator breaks down?

If you think your oxygen concentrator is not working or needs repair, please immediately contact the supplier or dealer you purchased. All repairs should be carried out by your supplier or the specific dealer you purchased through the order.

3.Is there a replacement part available?

It can replace parts and most external components, but if there is a problem inside the machine, it should be taken to an authorized repair center for maintenance. If the concentrator is opened outside the authorized repair facility, the guarantee is invalid.
